History: Melissa hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A freak accident while working with her Actor father left her crippled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Anne isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: She was born in the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Anne's homeland. Anne decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she's looking for her big break

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. After coming to the age of reason, Habor took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Jabbie was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he is unsatisfied with his job
