Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Borun was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Flask is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing painting.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Flask fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He has achieved small success as a Layabout.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and expand his business

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Balimaar was born the youngest of three triplets. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Balimaar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: Driindar wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Barbarian, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... Driindar enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She got into the Ruler business at a young age. She worked as a nervous Ruler and found it very stressful. She has worked as a Ruler like her mother before her.
