His mother taught him the rudiments of the Crown-heir arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Wiggens enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Wiggens alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She is mildly Halfling supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born in the west to a Bather, Fargrim learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bather responsibilities is difficult.
