Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Glassblower responsibilities is difficult; and retire the richest man in the south

History: He comes from a rich western family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Valorean lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bookbinder and was forced into it by his family; and to reunite with his absent father
