History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When Jak reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Soapmaker for hire.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bellfounder who has hired him part-time. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: Kyle hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he feels threatened by others

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Diesa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Diesa. She became a Courier soon after.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
