History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Quarion's homeland. Quarion decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Layabout arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A freak accident while working with his Carter mother left him crippled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Being a Barrister kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: To be a Tailor again; and sabotage a competitor
