History: He was born into a rich family. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Osah was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Therlin never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
