History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and money/treasure

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Tatyan lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Mortician. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
