History: Mindartis hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Brottor was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Brottor was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Brottor's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
