History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His druidic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to reunite with his old friends

History: She is a Lycanthrope in disguise. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
