Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Ulfgar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Born in the south to a Layabout, Gynk learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her first spouse was a Merchant, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

History: She got into the Dilettante business at a young age. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His parents enrolled him in a Commoner school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
