History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shadow fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. Through the years after Philomena was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Philomena's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She bought a crossbow and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing her hectic life and new apothecary responsibilities is difficult
