History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Guard. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.

Personality: Bernard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This tall, slender woman wears a brown small hat and brown clothes. Her white hair is long and unkept. Her eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 89. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Sarah lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
