History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nalaed was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She worked as a nervous Sculptor and found it very stressful. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nalaed fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and wants to open a new tavern

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it
