History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: She is a Deep Scion in disguise. River abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. History: Vezera lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Apothecary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.
