History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Gadreel was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gadreel's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When Bernard reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf mother passed away. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
