History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Conrad's homeland. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Birel was born with her father's beautiful face. Through the years after Birel was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Birel's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and doesn't want to be a ruler and was forced into it by her family

Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
