History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Through the years after Emerald was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Emerald's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She hates orcs. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her first spouse was a Bricklayer, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Oriel was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His white hair is knotted and matted. He has violet eyes.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is an amazing painter.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bather, and he later adopted a second daughter.
