History: Emen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. After a long history of fighting, Emen and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
