Alex was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Berrian was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

A gifted student she started as a Healer, but she got bored and became a Sculptor. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and balancing her hectic life and new sculptor responsibilities is difficult

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
