History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nicholas grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nicholas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. The war was a terrible time for him, and Lucan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Merchant arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Lûgnak was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
