History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Chaedi liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Nala wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She has all her life been fascinated with poetry.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nala was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Apothecary they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Miller, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Ulla's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.
