History: He was born in the north. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A gifted student she started as a Laborer, but she got bored and became a Soapmaker. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Soapmaker for hire.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and balancing her hectic life and new soapmaker responsibilities is difficult

The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
