History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Mugrunden and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Ekk is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her first spouse was a Barkeep, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. She usually doesn't wear a shirt. She has no hair. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Bryseis was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Bryseis took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shortspear and armor she uses now. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
