History: Andraste was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She found a children's book about a Elf Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Mercenary; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
