When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Born to a Bounty Hunter, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Grigi grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Grigi. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. After coming to the age of reason, Rivaan took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he seems to be bored by most things
