History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Varis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Varis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.
