History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Vrondiss. History: She got into the Servant business at a young age. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Puyet grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
