History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She found a children's book about a Gnome Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the east were limited. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature monstrous two handed axe.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. After a long history of fighting, Liftrasa and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
