History: Bertram was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. During his travels, Korfel and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Korfel discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Korfel fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Tanner.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he's in love

He wears his red hair up in a very large beehive style do. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He bought a flail and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a great chef.

History: Aust was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Aust has worked very hard to control his curse. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
