History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off her debts

He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
