Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and revenge

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Virra was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Mortician they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Shipwright, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Keyleth grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 4 years.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and sabotage a competitor
