Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Chem lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Luthra was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Luthra was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Being a Cartwright kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Randal is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
