History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Tailor arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Blossom was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Blossom never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
