History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nissa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nissa. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She was born in a small plains village. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Layabout kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
