History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized black coat, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His bronze crest is knotted and matted. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his red eyes.

Personality: Direcris is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Direcris was born with his mother's beautiful face. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miller and was forced into it by his family.

Voice: Soft and mumbly

Description: 6'3" and lanky with angular features, she is an attractive figure. She wears dark leathers with embroidery. She has dyed her greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. Her gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Engraver responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his sickle with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His red hair is long and unkept. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Wiggens embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He got into the Painter business at a young age. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Painter. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and expand his business
