History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Joan reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: She got into the Layabout business at a young age. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Layabout. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
