Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Barakas is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
