History: The child of a Sellsword, who enjoyed hunting, Orryn was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Orryn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Through the years after Qualen was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Qualen's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born to a Doctor, his father struggled to pay the bills. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Guard.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: She is a pot bellied northern woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She dresses in grey turtlenecks beneath a red coat with white slacks. Her golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
