When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. Personality: Valida is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Valida was born on a far southern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Tanner. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 9 years.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born in the north to a Baker, Igden learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
