Description: 5'2" and muscular, this northern man wears long strands of topaz and short pastel dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: River lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bookbinder. After a long history of fighting, Alberich and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult.

History: Eberdeb was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Eberdeb abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.
