Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. The war was a terrible time for her, and Vaina does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Carpenter they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Beggar, and she later adopted a second son.

History: Pikar was born with his mother's beautiful face. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She bought a monstrous two handed axe and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Born in the west to a Carpenter, Erdan learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Herbalist, but he got bored and became a Carpenter. He has taken up work as a Carpenter and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
