To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jacoba. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

History: Born to a Laborer, her mother struggled to pay the bills. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Hrathy alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her music with anyone who is interested.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Fortune-teller arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: The child of a Bookbinder, who enjoyed hunting, Gardain was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
