History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Spear alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the east were limited. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Paelias was born with his father's beautiful face. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Butcher. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Nuraval was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the south to a Ruler, Jocelyn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Tanner, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ruler.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new ruler responsibilities is difficult
