Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mara grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mara. She now owns her own business.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Elizabeth fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Description: This man wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He keeps his purple hair in a pixie cut. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born in the south. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Barakas was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Description: This late middle aged woman prefers to wear red clothing when she does not wear armor and is in decent physical shape. Her hair is short and golden. Her fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Philomena was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and balancing her hectic life and new ruler responsibilities is difficult
