History: Valanthe lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 13 years.

History: Purah was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. After a long history of fighting, Purah and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. Enna is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
