Description: A middle-aged man, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look, and is pretty ugly. His white hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Heian studied abroad. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Carpenter they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Tanner, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. After a long history of fighting, Flame and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is greedy

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: This slender woman stands about 3'3". She is typically in her Servant uniform. Her hair is long and silver with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small tan clips. Her fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Carlin isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Servant for the past few years.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is unsatisfied with her job
