However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Animal Trainer.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Uthemar isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Elven unity. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
