She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Shepherd arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Tordrid abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
