Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing her hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is a Miner first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She got into the Miner business at a young age. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Miner for the past few years.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Apothecary and was forced into it by his family.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Through the years after Hugolina was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Hugolina's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Tenena was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Tenena was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Tenena decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.
